Happy Birthday Grandma and a New Quilt!

Typically on birthdays, the birthday person receives a gift, but Grandma K. showed up for her birthday dinner today and presented Miriam with the quilt for her big girl bed.  Miriam knew that Grandma was working on it, so she's been excited to get it.  Everyone got so excited about it today, that I'm not sure the kids even remembered to say "happy birthday" to Grandma! 

Miriam loves her new quilt.  When we went up to her room later she said, "I like my quilt!"  Tonight she was all excited to get in bed and cover up with her quilt.  It is adorable, and looks so great in her purple room!

After putting the quilt on and taking some pictures, Grandma opened her gifts, we enjoyed a yummy steak dinner, and topped it off with a cheesecake made by Casey.  He's definitely got his mom's baking genes!
