Florida, part 2

Our first day at Magic Kingdom was Christmas day.  It was very busy, but we made good use of our time and saw quite a bit and rode a lot of rides.  It was so much fun exploring the park and seeing the kids' excitement.  What a great day!

The Little Mermaid Under the Sea ride... one of our favorites!

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears...
of course we had to go on the "It's a Small World" ride!

The kids' first roller coaster--the Barnstormer
They loved it!

Waiting for the Winnie the Pooh ride

Mad Tea Cups--Casey, Peter and Miriam got dizzy!

Classic family picture in front of Cinderella's Castle

Buzz Lightyear ride... another favorite!

Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride

Relaxing on the train

Aladdin Magic Carpet ride

Mickey ice cream sandwich!

Even though we were all tired,
we stayed for the Electrical Parade.
It was SO worth it!

Florida, part 1

We had a wonderful week in Florida over Christmas break.  We left on the afternoon of Peter's birthday and drove through the night, arriving in Orlando around 1:00 pm on Sunday.  My parents rented a house where we all stayed for the first part of the week so that we could spend a couple days at Disney.  We had fun swimming, playing on the playground, playing Foosball/pool/air hockey, opening gifts, and just relaxing.  We also went to a beautiful Christmas Eve church service and had a nice Christmas dinner together.

Peter's birthday dinner on the road!
